Big Brothers Big Sisters Fishing Tourney

Come out and support these fisherman as they fish for Big Brothers and Big Sisters kicking off today Friday April 15.

The sixth annual Hooked on Big Brothers Big Sisters Fishing Tournament is Friday and Saturday.

The kickoff party is from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Flour Bluff Convention Center, 10241 South Padre Island Drive, Suite 140. The evening will feature food, a silent auction, giveaways and live music.

Fishing the next day begins at 5 a.m. and the weigh-in is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Marker 37 Marina, 13317 SPID. Weigh-in party is from noon to 4 p.m. Entry fee is $400 for a four-angler boat team or individual anglers pay $125.

This year also features a Guns and Hoses competition between police officers and firefighters and a women’s category.
